The 2018 Flash Memory Summit (FMS) of the world's top Flash Memory Summit is held at the Santa Clara convention center in silicon valley, us, August 7, 2018. FMS is the international top flash memory summit in the memory industry, which mainly showcases the most advanced technology in the memory industry in the past year and discusses the development of next generation storage technology together. The conference aims to showcase the most advanced technology in the storage industry in the world over the past year and jointly explore the next generation of storage technology development.
Starblaze was invited to participate in and publish the sharing of STAR1000P on self-developed master chip!
A new high performance and low power NVMe master control STAR1000P is officially launched at the Flash Memory Summit 2018 in silicon valley of the United States. STAR1000P is the second generation NVMe master control of memory chip technology. The host interface is PCIe Gen3 x4, supports NVMe 1.3 protocol, supports 8 Flash channels and the maximum Flash capacity is 8TB. STAR1000P achieves 3.5gb /s and 3GB/s sequential read and write performance as well as 600K IOPS random read and write performance with a minimum of 8us write delay, facilitating data center key applications. In addition to supporting the international AES encryption standard, STAR1000P also fully supports China's sm2/3/4 security scheme. In terms of flash memory error correction algorithm, the third-generation 4K LDPC error correction code technology is introduced to easily meet the challenge of 3D TLC/QLC. In the aspect of low-power design, DVFS technology is introduced to optimize the dynamic clock gate control, and the power consumption in the full performance mode is only about 2W. In enterprise applications, STAR1000P enhances soft error handling techniques such as NVMe PI, EEEC, in-line ECC to meet high reliability requirements In industry and enterprise.
